SILVER BIRCH:

Silverbirch is a premium camping cabin with a kitchen area with hot water, a full bathroom with  large 4' shower, a small refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster and microwave!

Silver Birch is a cute camping cabin for those campers that want a roof but will still camp.  You can book this cabin all summer long with a 2 night minimum or by the week. This petite cabin has an open concept with a set of double bunk beds in the back and sleeps 4 comfortably.  Included is a full bathroom with a shower, 1 and a half picnic tables (one half of one inside, the other full one outside) a small refrigerator, microwave and counter space with a sink upfront for food prep. Electric and hot water are included in cost. You do also get a fire ring and initial firewood. Silver Birch is beside Sycamore which is right beside our office.

Stay here and you will get easy access to Higby's lakefront and docks, pool passes to the campground pool/ game room (Memorial Day-Labor Day), access to our playground area with gaga ball, basketball, tether-ball, volleyball plus your initial firewood (additional firewood available for purchase at the game room or office). Pets allowed with permission and additional $50(+tax) per pet per stay charge.  You also get access to our shared canoes, so bring a life jacket!

Please be aware that Silver Birch does not have a stove/range, only an outside fire ring. There are no dishes or household supplies other than a regular coffee pot and a toaster.  When staying in this camping cabin, you will need to bring linens (sheets, blankets, pillows) for the two full sized beds and all your toiletries.   We recommend bringing your camping gear including cooking supplies, a fan and a grill if you wish. There is electric and water but no insulation or heat, so reservations are limited pre and post season, depending on weather.
