Enjoy the summer activities at our campground and at Canadohta Lake. We welcome our returning campers each year to our beautiful campground at Canadohta Lake. Check out this page for the events around the lake both in our campground and sponsored by the local business association, CLABA.
We hope you will become part of our camping family and enjoy the events as they happen! Each summer our small community transforms into a family fun place. Generations of families have spent their vacations at the Family Lake and many of our patrons have grown up here enjoying their summer vacations. HANG ON THE LAKEFRONT
Whether it's feeding the ducks, watching the sunset or playing a game of ball with your family and friends, we have a large lakefront to enjoy all that Canadohta Lake has to offer.
FISHING
Fish from our lakefront or visit nearby
Timberland Bait is located off of Lake Road at Canadohta Lake (about a 5 minute drive).... check out their facility! They have bait and also a large pavilion. There is a two acre fishing pond. Fishing must be approved and coordinated with the owner. Strictly catch and release, no lures, live-bait only.
Timberland bait also has a covered pavilion adjacent to their 2-acre public pond available for rental. Rentals includes picnic table seating and access to the fishing pond. They are very family oriented! Check them out!

CHRISTMAS IN JULY AT CAMP!
This event started in 2024 with the vision from our 5th generation Higby, Lily. We are pleased to announce Christmas in July (usually the 3rd weekend in July) is an annual event! We have fun games, a basket exchange and other festive activities and a special guest (or two)! Find more information on our facebook page.

Higby's Campground is located about 45 -55 minutes southeast of Waldameer.
